Elinor MacPhail

Ellie grew up on Redtail Ridge Farm and learned to ride at a young age. She started showing in the hunter ring and fox hunting with the Rocky Fork Headly Hunt with her first pony, Piper, at the age of eight. Ellie quickly became involved with Hunter’s Run Pony Club and got the opportunity to work at Rolex Kentucky, where she first discovered eventing. She competed in her first event the next spring and was hooked. Since that time Ellie has competed through the CCI** level and was named to the Developing Rider list in 2009 and 2011. She was the 2008 young rider champion at Fair Hill International, and was a member of medalling junior and young rider teams at NAJYRC in 2008 and 2009. Most recently, she placed seventh in the Bromont CCI2* with her new ride RF Eloquence. Ellie is an up and coming rider currently looking for sponsorships to help her reach her goals.
